Commercial Truck Driver — Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) License

About This Role

We're recruiting Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) licensed drivers for regional long-haul positions with a well-established carrier based in Pune. You'll be hauling dry van freight on dedicated and semi-dedicated routes throughout Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Karnataka. Trucks are late-model Tata and Ashok Leyland units equipped with sleeper cabins and GPS tracking. Drivers are typically home weekly.

Responsibilities

• Haul dry van freight safely and on schedule
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain trip logs and comply with Motor Vehicles Act regulations
• Secure cargo and verify load integrity
• Communicate with dispatch and customers professionally

Requirements

• Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
• 1+ year of verifiable long-haul or regional driving experience
• No major traffic offences in the past 7 years
• Ability to pass medical fitness test and drug screening
• Familiarity with FASTag and interstate permit documentation
